About the In-Person Cleansing

This private ritual is intended for someone who feels deeply burdened by a hex, curse, extreme negative energy, spiritual heaviness, or a persistent pattern of difficulty that they believe calls for intensive spiritual cleansing.

About the timing: The cleansing itself is conducted over two ritual days. When your travel schedule allows and you arrive early enough, Mambo Sam may also perform a brief settling ritual before your first night's sleep. This was part of the original flow of the work and can be a meaningful beginning, but it is not promised when arrival is very late.

Questions About the Ritual

Who might choose this ritual?

Someone who feels that their life has been seriously affected by a hex, curse, extreme negative energy, or a persistent sense of spiritual blockage. People often come to this work after feeling that bad luck or negativity has become entrenched and difficult to shift.

What happens during the cleansing?

You will be guided through several parts of the ritual focused on cleansing unwanted energies, spiritual heaviness, and other influences that you feel are causing you difficulty. Various waters, oils, herbs, candles, cleansing preparations, charms, and other ritual materials may be used. Your head will get wet. Please discuss allergies or sensitivities with us beforehand.

Do I have to disrobe?

No. You will not be asked to disrobe for the ritual.

Will I be touched?

Yes, there are portions of the cleansing in which Mambo Sam may need to touch you. No intimate areas are touched. Your comfort, boundaries, and consent are respected throughout the work, and you can ask to pause, stop, or adjust something at any time.

Can someone accompany me?

If you need assistance because of a disability or another practical need, a support person may accompany you. Otherwise, this is generally best experienced privately because the work can become deeply personal and emotional.

Can two people do the cleansing together?

Yes. Two people may complete the ritual together for $8,000. Choose this only with someone you trust completely. The cleansing can bring up strong feelings, personal history, painful experiences, and matters that you may normally keep private.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What you discuss and experience during the ritual is treated as private and confidential.

What happens after the negative energy is cleared?

The latter part of the work focuses strongly on blessing, renewal, and filling the space left by what has been cleansed away. The goal is not simply to remove unwanted spiritual energy, but to help you leave feeling spiritually supported, hopeful, and renewed.

What should I bring?

Please bring two sets of comfortable white clothing that you do not mind disposing of after the work. White T-shirts and scrub-style pants are ideal, and underwear should also be white. Bring any medications, personal necessities, and comfort items you may need.

Will we talk before I travel?

Yes. You will speak with Mambo Sam before your ritual dates so you can discuss what has been happening, ask questions, explain concerns, and address any allergies, sensitivities, accessibility needs, or other matters before you travel.

What about health and safety requirements?

Any current health or safety requirements that apply at the time of your visit will be discussed with you before you travel. If you have specific health-related concerns about participating in the ritual, please raise them during the pre-ritual conversation.

Is there follow-up after the ritual?

Yes. Three follow-up readings are included, generally scheduled about three months apart, so that your progress can be discussed after the cleansing.
