The Sweetest Lives<\/p>\n

The sweetest lives are those to duty wed,<\/p>\n

Whose deeds, both great and small,<\/p>\n

Are close-knit strands of unbroken thread<\/p>\n

Where love ennobles all.<\/p>\n

The world may sound no trumpets, ring no bells;<\/p>\n

The book of life the shining record tells.<\/p>\n

The love shall chant its own beatitudes<\/p>\n

After its own life working.<\/p>\n

A child\u2019s kiss<\/p>\n

Set on thy sighing lips shall make thee glad;<\/p>\n

A sick man helped by thee shall make thee strong;<\/p>\n

Thou shalt be served thyself by every sense<\/p>\n

Of service which thous renderest.<\/p>\n
