Well, Happy Winter, Happy Solstice! Finally, the days begin to become longer again! Do any of you have any special traditions for this day? If you do, I would love to hear about them, Please post a comment below, and we can get a little conversation going about this special time of the year! I personally go out and collect all my bird feeders, wash them out, clean them up, repair if needed, and fill them up right full with fresh, wonderful seeds. I also get my suet feeder out, and fill that as well. If I need to, I run down to the hardware store and get enough bird seed and suet to last me a while. Gotta take care of those little birdies!

This weekend I recieved quite a few requests for readings about Money and Abundance and to get guidance before the big SOBO ritual on December 9th. So, in the Sobo spirit, I am going to offer a 45 minute chat room reading for the price of a 30 minute reading. Simply order a 30 minute reading in the CHAT room, and I will schedule it for 45 minutes. I want to put them on sale to make them more affordable to those that are seeking guidance on what to ask of Sobo and what areas to do your ritual work on. I really like the chat room readings because I can send you a transcript of what was discussed, and you have that later on to refer to if you need it.

The very first step to participation in this ritual is to email your letter of request regarding your finances or the finance of another. Obviously we cannot guarantee anyone results, but there is a great amount of power when we do these group rituals! You can email your ritual request to sobomylwa@spellmaker.com. This will automatically include you in our ritual! More information about the ritual will be posted in a few days at the page above, plea se check back for the full ritual.
We have also put together a nice ritual kit that can be used in conjunction with the ritual we will be doing. You do NOT need it to participate in or be included in the ritual. However, if you can participate in using this kit, it will definitely help strengthen your petition. Even if you cannot participate in the ritual on December 9, you can still be included in the ritual by sending us an email as above and do this kit at any time before or after December 9! ….actually, the real news is about the clean up!
Not that there was anything wrong with the clean up before — it was just a little, um, involved, as our most Beloved Mambo Sam packs these baths chock full of magickal and blessed herbs so that we can get the most benefit possible from the Ritual Baths. The experience is amazing for all the baths (trust me, I have taken at least one of each!) Now, the herbs are packed neat and tidy in a cotton bag. That keeps the herbs from running down your drain and getting in your ears and hair (for those of us with long hair, you know what I mean ) Now, the herbs diffuses their healing and other such magickal properties thru the cotton bag (picture a BIG cotton tea bag right full of aromatic blessed herbs) into the water and you get the benefits of all of these herbs AND a speedy cleanup 😉
I did take my first bath with the new set up last night, so I can tell you from experience, it was as wonderful as ever (and I got to bed much quicker when I was done)
For those of you convention bound, you might want to consider doing a Baron’s Purple Bath before your trip, to help you get read for the Big Fet Ghede Festivities that will be occuring! Doing the bath preconference to help celebrate Fet Ghede and The Baron and Maman Brigitte would be a wonderful thing to do and help you get the most out of this fantastic experience. Also, anyone who would just like to do some general cleansing before the convention to help open themselves up more to the blessings and learning that will be bestowed by our awesome Mambo could do a Milk of Damballah White Bath kit before hand 😉 Being cleansed and open to all the new and wonderful things that will be presented to you can only help enhance the experice for you.
