Hello everyone! I am in hopes that some of our clients with Yahoo! Mail will read this post; some of you we don't have any other way to answer so hopefully this will help.
If you have been waiting for a reading,an email from customer service, techsupport, or your caseworker, etc. from www.spellmaker.com and you aren't hearing from us it is because Yahoo! Mail currently has us branded as spammers and aren't letting our emails through to you. π
The most idiotic thing about this is that we very rarely send out any unsolicited emails – maybe about four times a year for specials and sales – otherwise just about all we are doing is answering your emails that you write to us. I can't figure out how they can say we are spamming when we are obviously answering an email!!!!
I am not sure if it will help, but if you have a Yahoo! email address that you are using to contact us, perhaps putting us on your "white" list, or accepted list will help the emails go through. Although I have filled out the form they request and am trying to make them see that we are simply doing business as usual, I am fearful that this is going to become a real problem.
In the meantime, if you aren't hearing from us on your Yahoo! (and we have had the same problem with Hotmail recently) address, you might want to try re-sending your email from a different email address – maybe setting up a free email with an other service.
I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I really don't know what else to do.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to say that our Free Shipping is going to have to end soon! The increases in postal rates (hahahahaha, I just accidently wrote postal "rats" – wonder if I should have just left it that way) over the past couple of years are just making it cost-prohibitive for us. :-(
We have been really happy to bring this value-added service to our clients over the last couple of years, but it is hitting us hard in the pocket book. Rather than secretly increase prices and still say that the shipping is "free" like so many retailers do, we would rather actually just tell you the truth and say that we just can't afford to do the free shipping for much longer.
We haven't totally decided yet, but right now we are looking at a $3.00 flat rate for shipping by the method of our choice (usually first class mail), and $6.00 if you want it shipped by Priority Mail. So this will be for any weight or number of items shipped in the USA, so it will still be relatively inexpensive, just not FREE like we wanted it to be! International Rates and Express Mail rates are charged exactly what we pay, so that will remain the same.
There is also the chance for Free Shipping in the USA to return when this recession is truly over (seriously, when is this going to get better???) and there is more money to go around for everyone!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Happily, we will be re-opening our forum here in the next couple of days. I was going to wait until I was finished with our Spellmaker Community Pages, but we are excited to get the forum re-opened and we don’t want to wait much longer! π
My darling daughter, Sister Bridget has been working on the reformatting and re-creation of the forum so that it will be a happy, healthy, and productive place!
The new forum will not be a place for crying, whining, and telling everyone how bad one’s life is! We found that to be extremely counterproductive and while it may have made a few people feel better to get those kinds of things off their chest, it ended up making more people unhappy until it just turned into a ball of negative energy. So, instead, we are making the forum a place of happy updates, tips and suggestions for keeping positive, uplifting quotes and stories, and teaching information about magick, voodoo, the lwa, saints, and angels, and more! π
My other darling daughter, Sister Candelaria, as well as Sister Bridget, will still have their corners in the forum. Schweety’s Feng Shui corner will still be there! Spellmaker office news and all the information about the lwa that Schweety was kind enough to upload for us will still be there! Plus, there will be lots of new categories. π
It is our intention for the Spellmaker Spirits forum to be a place of learning, peace, and happiness. It will remain a moderated forum and posts will have to be approved.(Mostly we do that because so many people troll the internet looking for places to post porno and Viagra links! So to keep the forum for the purpose for which it was intended, we will moderate posts.)
I am really looking forward to opening the forum back up! See you there in a few days!

I want to let you all know that we now have a new customer service email address. It’s a pretty easy one: customerservice@spellmaker.com – catchy, huh? π
Of course we are always striving to serve you the best way that we can, but realize that even under the best of circumstances sometimes things can go wrong, miscommunications can occur, and misunderstandings can happen to anyone! No matter what the problem or challenge might be, we want to work with you to resolve it satisfactorily!
I have noticed that many times people approach the idea of “customer service” in an angry and defensive way…. almost as if one expects to be put off or ignored and so, to get the attention one needs, the first line of attack is through anger. There is no reason to do that with us. If you are experiencing any kind of challenge with us, we want to resolve it! We want you to be happy, content, and satisified.
It is unrealistic to think that any business is going to get it right all the time. Everyone everywhere makes mistakes! We try to be extremely careful NOT to make mistakes, but when I woke up this morning we were all human, and I expect the same thing tomorrow morning, too. π So, all we are asking is that if you are having a problem with us, that you let us know and let us try to fix it!
If you are writing to customer service, for fastest service, please include your full name (first and last/surname), an order number (if you are referring to a product or service that you have purchased), and a synopsis of what the challenge is. If you have an idea of what you would like to happen to resolve the issue, we would love it if you put that in there, too! π
Please remember that we never, ever guarantee that anyone will get a particular result with spell work or spell products. It is really impossible to do that! But we do guarantee that we will always try our best for you, that our products and services are 100% authentic, and that we will work with you on any issue you encounter.
Having said that, I hope each and every one of you never, ever needs to write to customer service! π
