  • CONFERENCE REGISTRATION 2-PART PLAN EXTENDED

    Hello everyone!

    By the request of a number of clients, we have extended the two-part payment plan option for the upcoming Spellmaker Video Voodoo Conference.  We are trying hard to work with everyone who wants to attend the conference!  So if you choose the two-part payment plan by October 16, 2010 you will be able to attend all the classes and workshops of the conference even though your second payment will be made after the conference.  We realize that times are still tough for many (us included) and the conference has never really been about making a huge profit.  We have always tried to remain within the parameters of the cost of supplies, time, and effort of the conference as far as payment is concerned.  So we are happy to work with anyone who wishes to attend the conference.  If you need special arrangements, please contact customerservice@spellmaker.com and let us know.  We do ask, however, that if at all possible you let us know by October 16.

    In the meantime, we are very excited about the classes and presentations!  Sister Bridget will be presenting a unique and informative presentation on Marie Laveau!  Our psychic friend, Mary Lee Stein, will be doing a great presentation on crystals and their special properties.  Khouzhan Ann will be talking with us about fresh new ways to use combo or adjunct work.  Khouzhans Athena and Lucy will be presenting their sacred places visions. Khouzhan Heather will be doing an amazing presentation on serving the lwa through art and specialty offerings. 

    Yours truly will be teaching about the roots and philosphy of love spell work and sex magick as well as how they go hand-in-hand.  I will also be teaching many other things including how to make a voodoo wand (wand included!), The Church of the Nine Mysteries, how to make your personal veve, and much more!

    Parran Matt will be sharing his thunderstone ritual to Ogoun, something that everyone can benefit from!

    Also, please note:  You do NOT need a webcam to participate in the conference.  You only need a webcam if you want to be seen.  If you do not wish to be seen, you don't need a webcam.  You can view the whole conference on your computer and ask your questions by typing them in, such as in a chatroom format.  The conference is completely confidential and no one needs to be seen on camera unless they want to. If you do use a webcam you can ask your questions "in person" and interact with us that way.  The choice is completely yours.  🙂

    So please, if you are wanting to attend this conference, get registered SOON!  :-)  We really need a 
    head count for materials!

  • This Year’s Video Voodoo Convention – Coming Soon!

    Hi everyone!

    As most of you already know, we are doing our convention this year as an online Video Voodoo Convention!

  • Spellmaker Online Video Voodoo Conference

    Hello everyone!  As most of you probably know by now, our 2010 Voodoo Conference will be an online video conference!  We did this for a number of reasons, the number one being that right now is not a great financial time for a lot of people and so this allows us to cut the tuition for the conference by more than half from the prior conferences.  In this way, we hope that all of those folks who have always wanted to come to the conference but couldn't afford it, will be able to come this time!

    Folks have had some questions about the conference, especially about how they will participate.  How much or how little you participate in this conference will be up to you – you can simply sit and watch or you can speak up or you can type your questions and we will see them as text questions, you can be "on" camera or "off" – there is a lot of flexibility as far as how you participate.  If you desire to be completely confidential, you can!

    People have also asked about social time (like we have at the regular conference) and we have decided that, yes, we will provide for that.  Again, that is strictly up to you as to whether or not you want to join in on a video cocktail party or not!  🙂

    Folks have also asked if we will be doing "hands on" workshops like we have in the past – yes, we will!  Every participant will still receive their "goodie bag" just like they did at the other conference, only this time it will be mailed (and some literature emailed) to them before the conference.  🙂

    The biggest thing about the whole conference is that you will be able to participate as much or as little as you desire and still get the whole benefit of the classes, lectures, workshops, and demonstrations.

    Registration is still open and the payment plan is still in effect if you need to break the payment into two parts, but that won't last too much longer as the conference is coming up in October! 🙂

  • Albuquerque Voodoo Convention was AWESOME!

    Hello everyone! The Convention was truly a great event!  It was really great to see some familiar faces and just as great to meet with the new ones. 

    The weekend was filled with fun and learning.  Saturday nights Fet Ghede celebration went so very well with everyone sharing a meal together and then participating in all the activities of the night.  Fet Ghede is the time that we honor our ancestors as well as celebrate the Vodou New Year.  Everyone was given the opportunity to throw the traumas and negativities of the old year into the fire for a fresh new start!

    Additionally, we fed our ancestors at a beautiful ancestor altar, lit candles for them, and then made ouanga bottles to use throughout the year to connect with our beloved ancestors.  We wrote them notes that went into a special vessel and also wrote their names on candles that are actually still being burned here in the office.  It was extremely powerful to connect with everyone's family is this beautiful way.

    Each person who attended the convention met with me for a one-on-one consultation and brief ritual to help them attain their goals.  It is a very special time when I get to spend this private time with each client.

    I am still in the category of "tired but happy" and already miss everyone who was here and can't wait for next year! I will share much more with you all soon.  Here is a picture of our wonderful ancestor altar that we built.  (Everyone was invited to have a picture of their ancestors on the altar.)

  • Can’t Wait to See You at the Convention!

    Greetings!  Well, I don’t know about where you live, but here in New Mexico we are experiencing a little bit of Fall weather.  It is much cooler in the evenings and in the mornings there is just something inexplicable that reminds me of the beginnings of Fall mornings. 

    Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons, especially here in New Mexico, and although I have always loved Fall now I have another wonderful reason to love it:  It means our Albuquerque Voodoo Convention is getting near!  🙂 

    I am so very excited about the convention this year because it means the return of many old friends from last year and also the meeting of new friends, some coming from far across the world to be with us!  The Convention gives me a chance to teach everyone personally and gives our Voodoo family a chance to participate in giving blessings and consecrations to each person.  This is very rewarding for us as so much of our work is online and by email.  Certainly it is wonderful to meet everyone by email and get to know them, but it is just such an extra treat for us all to be together with you. 

    Of course, as most of you already know, we are very thrilled to be able to hold the Fet Ghede ritual with you this year!  I have also just finished putting together a magickal herbal workshop that I feel is going to benefit FOR LIFE all of those who are here to take part.  It is going to give participants a chance to learn and understand how herbal magick works, learn secret herbal combinations and how to use them, and learn how to properly prepare magickal herbs for the best possible result in using them.  I am truly excited to be able to teach this class.

    There will be much, much more to the Convention, obviously, and I will be blogging more about it in upcoming days.

  • Albuquerque Voodoo Convention 2008!

    Hello everyone!!  As most of you already know, I am sure, we are indeed planning the 2008 Albuquerque Voodoo Convention!  2007 was a great success and it was such an uplifting experience to get to meet clients, teach in person, and bestow blessings and protection in person.

    For those of you who have attended our events in the past, you are aware that meeting with me on a one-on-one basis is always a part of those events.  Usually we do a reading/spiritual consultation as part of that one-on-one meeting.  Because this year’s convention may prove to be larger than last year’s, it is possible that I may have to limit the amount of people I meet with unless people are willing to stay an extra day after the convention.  Right now, I know I can accomodate seeing 25 people on an individual basis for the convention.  I will try my absolute BEST to accomodate more if I can. 

    10 people are already registered for the 2008 convention!  🙂  The only fair way I could figure to do the one-on-one counseling sessions is on a first paid in full/first served basis.  Out of those 10 people, 6 are paid in full.  I tell you this just to give you a heads up on when you might want to go ahead and start register!  LOL.  Like I said, it might be a moot point because I am going to try my darndest to get with everyone on an individual basis at the convention, but if there is a high volume of people… well, you get it.

    I will also be changing up the way those personal consultations are done with me.  Most of the time we end up talking about and getting guidance on your case.  Nothing wrong with that!  However, I realize more and more that is something we can do by phone or email.  What we cannot do by phone or email is a ritual together to help whatever you are working on or want to work on.  So, this year, each person with whom I get to meet, you and I will do an actual ritual together to further your case.  🙂  I think this is an outstanding opportunity to do this and I feel very guided by Les Lois to do this with you.   We will provide all the materials for this ritual and you will also receive a sacred object blessed during the ritual to take home with you to work with.

    I  also wanted to share with you some of the other things that are planned for the convention:  We will definitely be holding the Ancient Secrets class again with more information that I will never, ever teach on line.  These teachings are those that I just do not feel comfortable in putting out for general purposes.  I feel that I need to be face-to-face with you to teach these secrets.  Last year’s Ancient Secrets class was awesome and I can definitely guarantee that to be a feature of all future conventions.

    Additionally, we will be doing a Fet Ghede ritual and doing lots of teaching about Fet Ghede, how to serve best during that time, and how to make it work for you with petitioning for things that you want to come into your life and things you want out of your life!  Fet Ghede rituals are about achieving balance:  Out with the negative, in with the positive.

    We will be learning at least part of the Priye Guinea (the long Vodou prayer), Vodou songs, and again we will do a class to make a sacred object (this year it will be a personal voodoo doll). 

    Naturally, there will be partying, dinner, cocktails, guest speakers, blessings, and lots of other classes to be announced.  🙂

  • Convention 2007 News and Updates!

    We here at www.SPELLMAKER.com are in full swing preparing for the Albuquerque Voodoo Convention here in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico, October 26-29, 2007. 

    There is still plenty of time to register and get here for this amazing event!  Come on, you can do it! It really will be worth your while.  You can meet with me, Mambo, in a personal setting.  I will teach things at the convention that I do not feel comfortable in teaching over the internet.  Plus we will have fun – eat, drink and be merry while we are learning.

    Your confidentiality is assured.  No pictures will be taken that will show anyone’s face at the convention (unless they give explicit permission).  Name tags will have whatever name YOU want on them.  No one has to know who you are, where you came from, or what you do for a living.  All convention goers will be instructed to not pry into each other’s lives.  This will be a nuturing, safe, and comfortable environment in which all may learn.

    We will have workshops, a few guest speakers, and lots of personal attention from yours truly, Mambo Sam!  I will do special blessings and cleansings on each participant throughout the weekend. Additionally, there is still time to be on the list to have a personal one-on-one session with me at a designated time during the conference.  You will have a personal appointment with me.

    If you need a roommate, once you register you can join the Convention forum and hopefully find someone.  The hotel is giving a great room rate and there are hotels nearby to the one chosen for the conference.  You can get all the information by clicking here.
